I purchased this same Bora Bora 1.0 bulk braiding hair last year for vacation and loved it. There was no smell, no dye transfer, and minimal tangling, so I decided to purchase it again this year.
Unfortunately, my experience this time has been very different. There is still no smell, but whenever my hair gets wet, I notice black drops coming from the hair. I’ve only had my braids for a week, and I’m already experiencing consistent tangling.
The biggest issue is the amount of dye that comes out whenever the hair is misted or gets wet. There has been so much dye transfer that it has stained my clothing.
I’m not sure what changed with the batches I received this time, but the quality seems noticeably different from my previous purchase. I loved this hair last year, so I’m disappointed with the current experience.
